Obama at the Academy, I

"The President of the United States is in the building," said Ralph Cicerone this morning at the academy as thousands of scientists filled the hallways, member center, great hall, auditorium, and offices. 

President Barack Obama "wanted to bring science back into the center of how the government thinks ... and what it does," John Holdren said in introducing the president. Holdren called Obama's moves on science "signals, and more important, actions," that he cares about science.
