WASHINGTON, D.C.—How can virtual reality help researchers design better prosthetics? What are the implications for locked-in patients? And can we transfer our consciousnesses into robotic avatars? Science reporter Sara Reardon chats with Olaf Blanke and José del R. Millán about their work, presented here on Saturday at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (which publishes ScienceNOW).The two also participated in a live chat with Science yesterday.
