Aubrey de Grey
Aubrey de Grey is a biomedical gerontologist based in Cambridge, U.K., the chief science officer of SENS Foundation, a California-based charity dedicated to combating the aging process, and editor-in-chief of Rejuvenation Research, the world’s highest-impact peer-reviewed journal focused on intervention in aging. His research interests encompass the characterization of all the "damage" accumulated in the molecules and cells of aging mammals, as well as the design of interventions to repair and/or counteract that damage.
S. Jay Olshansky
S. Jay Olshansky is a professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois, Chicago, as well as a research associate at the Center on Aging at the University of Chicago and at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His research focuses on the upper limits to human longevity, the health and public policy implications associated with individual and population aging, as well as the pursuit of the scientific means to slow aging in people.
