The nostrils, according to a new, wildly extreme study performed by a Cornell University researcher. Interested in knowing where on the body a bee's sting is most agonizing and if certain locations are worse than others, a scientist let a honey bee sting him five times a day over the course of 38 days—all in the name of science. Using a pain scale from one to 10, he found a sting to the nostrils was the absolute worst, followed by a sting to the upper lip and penis, National Geographic reports. To learn more about how he rated other locations, check out the findings published this week in PeerJ.
