Childhood Obesity Rate Drops Dramatically

Good news! American children between the ages of 2 and 5 have gotten a lot healthier. A study published today in The Journal of the American Medical Association found that obesity rates among the age group have dropped by 43% in the last decade. The researchers, who were surprised by the results, believe children may now be consuming fewer calories and sugary beverages, according to The New York Times.
